Keith Youngs Steakhouse: An Upscale Dining Experience in Madisonville, LA

My husband and I enjoyed a delightful pre-Valentine's lunch! He had the petit filet butterflied with potatoes au gratin and a side salad. I had the crab cakes with a Caesar salad. The filet melted in the mouth! The crab cakes were superb! Creme brulee topped off our fine meal. Kudos to the wait staff who are attentive but not intrusive. Highly recommend this local establishment.

What an amazing time! Ambience is always great! The service was incredible- Skyler and Luke were very attentive and spot on! The flavor of the steak was soooo good but the meat was kinda stringy- which is very strange because usually it’s like butter and you could cut it with a fork!! The tuna appetizer was OUT OF THIS WORLD!! I’m really never disappointed!

My wife and I came here for out date night. This was out first time visiting the restaurant. We were greeted with smiles and a warm environment. We were seated promptly. Our server was Ramon, and he did an outstanding job. He was very informative about the menu and very patient as we were looking at the menu. The food was great. It came out in a nice timely manner and was freshly made to perfection. We have added Keith Young's Steakhouse to out top 5 list!!!

We just had a wonderful lunch here. I ordered the steak sandwich and an order of fries. They were outstanding. We got the almond tilapia, filet mignon and the catfish. Again, everything was really good as was the service. The one downside was, we were shorted a side on the catfish. It’s supposed to come with a seafood stuffed bell pepper. They brought only the catfish and a couple of really burnt hush puppies, no stuffed bell pepper, which was disappointing. We didn’t realize it until we were walking out. I’ll definitely be back.

Its a very large restaurant with many individual dining rooms. The food and service were good. One person in our group had to send the RIbeye Spinelli back, as it was over-cooked. The replacement was perfectly cooked. Everyone in our party said their meal was delicious. The menu is ala carte. Be prepared to spend $80 to $100 per person. Not including cocktails. Was it the best filet mignon I have ever eaten? No, but it was good. Would I go back? Probably.

By far, one of the best steakhouses on the North Shore. The service has improved to five stars for sure the atmosphere is much improved since they have expanded their bar area now they have tripled or increased their parking areas. Overall, this is a must see dining experience

Josh was our server. He was excellent. Very attentive but not obtrusive. The food was outstanding, as usual. They were very busy, but despite that the service was very good and the noise level acceptable. The background music was just the right level too, audible but not obnoxious. My wife and I each got the fillet along with the garlic potatoes and steamed broccoli. We had the bread pudding for dessert. All in all, an excellent meal.

Outstanding food and service. Love the corn/crawfish bisque. Every meal we have had here is outstanding. It’s the best restaurant on the Northshore.
